Job Title: Project Research Data Collector (Interviewers)

Job Profile

The successful candidate will collect information from respondents. The Data Collector will be required to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and commitment to achieving the aims of the project.


Total Number of Persons needed for the role: Six (6) Persons 


Job-role 
The successful candidate will perform the following functions:

Data Collection and update with focus on suitability of data to meet research objectives.


Sharing appropriate information as directed with Project Director and team members.


Strictly adhere to punctuality on the stipulated duration for data collection.


Supporting staff and other stakeholders in the use of research tools and contribute to training as required.


To adhere to confidentiality procedures and policies when collecting, storing and sharing data.


Qualifications/Experience

Must possess a minimum of O’ Level and National Diploma certificates and any other degree or certificate is an added advantage.


Experience and administration of the usage of correct data collection tools in each site.


Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel applications.


Skills and Competency required:

Ability to locate the households/ facilities detailed in the research sample.


Ability to select the respondents to interview based on specific selection criteria.


Must possess the experience to use electronic data collection using tabs and checking completed interviews to be sure that all questions were asked and the respondent are recorded.


Must possess knowledge about informed consent processes.


Must possess good writing and verbal communication skills.


Must be able to work effectively with others, as well as promote collaboration across multiple locations.


Ability to monitor and follow up households /facilities to interview.
