Call for Application for 3 Days Step Down Training on Strategic Advocacy for 35 Young Advocate in Kaduna State.

Association of Positive Youth Living with HIV (APYIN Kaduna State) with support from UNICEF Kaduna State will be conducting a 3 days step down training for 35 young advocates in Kaduna State on Strategic Advocacy.

This training is a build on from the earlier training done by UNAIDS West and Central Africa Regional Office in Dakar Senegal for West and Central Africa Youth Advocates.

APYIN desire to spread it scope to absorb young advocate who will work with the organization to continuously stair advocacy push geared at policy makers, government stakeholders, donors and implementing partners for health and Socio-economic needs of Adolescents and Young People in Kaduna State.

The training seeks to empower this young advocate to better work and engage at the state level.

Individuals who meets the following eligibility can apply.

-Must be residing in Kaduna State.

-Must be residing from either of this local government areas (Birnin Gwari, Chikun, Igabi, Kagarko, Jaba, Jama’a, Lere) individuals from Kaduna North and Kaduna South are also encourage to apply but priority will be given to the above 7LGAs.

-age 15-28 years

-Must be able to speak and write in both major language dominant in the state (Hausa and English).

-Must be passionate and experience in HIV work and other public health related.

-Experience in communication priority will be given more to already train AYP demand creators.

-Must be experience in advocacy and activism.

-Must be a social media and tech advance frequent user.

-Must be have experience in campaign and community organizing.

The training commence 4-6 November 2019 and arrival will be on 3 November 2019.

Deadline for submission 30th October 2019 by 12:00pm noon

Selected applicant will be communicated to on or before 1st November 2019 for venue of the training.

The training will cover participants, Transport, Hotel Accommodation, Per diem, and Stationaries.
